Established in 1972, (shown above as we were then) Regal Motors (Bilston) Ltd is a family owned and run company.

Based in Oxford Street, Bilston near Wolverhampton in the West Midlands we have grown substantially from small beginnings in 1956 buying and selling cars from home. In fact we even know the first car that was ever sold by the Jackson family – a Triumph Mayflower registration number LDA 710 (shown right). As the business grew, used vehicle sites were set up around the Black Country and we took on our first new car franchise in 1964, then purchasing Regal Motors (known then as Star Motors) in 1972. We have continued that growth over the years as we move forward with Peugeot – a major supplier of cars, vans and vehicle parts in the UK across all channels of business.

Regal are proud to be holders of the Peugeot franchise and look forward to further developing our working partnership with Peugeot Motor Company in the future. Now employing nearly 50 staff, we have re-developed all of the site over the years, in 2000 a purpose built, high quality, Service & Parts Department was completed, fully equipped with specialist facilities for cars, light commercial vehicles and Motorhomes; also catering for tyres, brakes, exhausts, all makes servicing etc as well as M.O.Ts.

And in 2003, having acquired the old "Odyssey" Pub next door, the land was re-developed into what is now our Van and Part Exchange Centre. The pub had stood on the site of an even older Victorian pub known as "The Blue Boar", and the demolition had revealed many artefacts from those times, including many of the clay smoking pipes used by local men. But the most rewarding "find" was a large cast iron sign of the name "Bilston". It would almost certainly have been made in one of the local foundries, and has now been set in pride of place at the front of our new building as testament to Bilston’s rich and tumultuous Industrial heritage. Then in the summer of 2010 our site underwent a total transformation as we went ‘Blue Box’ inside and out (seen right) . With fully refurbished showrooms and receptions, a comfortable customer cafe facility including television, daily newspapers, complimentary coffee machine, and space for customers to work at if they wish while waiting. This expansion programme was a move designed to ensure that Regal maintains the high standards of service comfort and convenience our customers expect.In fact customer service from Regal really means just that.

As a family business – founded by my father John Jackson, we are highly customer focused, and from a womans perspective I hope we offer something a bit different than the average car Dealership. I want everyone to feel welcome when they walk through our doors , especially women who are buying more cars in their own right than ever before. I am proud to say that over 50 percent of our business now comes from repeat or recommendation, and almost 70 percent of our after-sales trade also comes from established customers. We can not and do not promise that nothing will ever go wrong, but if there is ever problem you can be assured that we will do everything we can to ensure that it is resolved quickly and satisfactorily. Our aim is to give our customers peace of mind so they come back again and again!
